About Our Board
Jeremy & Kirstin Green: Communications
Soon after moving here from Texas, Jeremy, Kirstin, and their two young men greatly enjoyed the strong Christian community found in WCCHE. WCCHE has gifted them wonderful friendships, fun, and support. Jeremy and Kirstin started a relationship with Jesus around 2010 and are grateful their lives and eternities were forever changed. Their mixed interests are Youth and Bible study, reading, chess, hiking, STEM, movies, 3D printing, coding. They enjoy serving on the Board and helping WCCHE any way they can. James 1:17
Chris & Alena Sherman: Presidents
We are the Shermans-Chris, Alena, Zoi, Kai, Eli, Lucca, and Livvi. We have been homeschooling for 10 years and have been involved in WCCHE for about as long. We love the WCCHE community and are so grateful for all of the kind members that have helped us on our own journey in home education. We love to try new things, new food, and most of all, Jesus! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve this community and its families.
Brooke & Andrew Koenig: Treasurers
Our family of seven has enjoyed being a part of WCCHE since 2009. Our favorite things about this group are the many different field trips and Friday soccer. We love the connections our kids have made with other families and the support we get from our members. Andrew is a small business owner of a construction company and is also involved in politics. Our family loves most sports, and we encourage our kids to stay active. We look forward to meeting you!
Sharon & Joshua D’Spain: Secretaries
Sharon & Joshua D’Spain have lived in the St. Louis area for almost 7 years. They have been married for 14 years and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Rebecca, along with their two dogs. They began homeschooling in 2018. New To St. Louis area, God has blessed them with great friends and amazing connections with other God seeking families. In 2020, they joined WCCHE to meet other families, be involved in a community, and enjoy team sports. Since then, they have enjoyed WCCHE’s field trip co-op, Art/Talent Show, as well as the Ice Cream Social/Book Sale. As a family they enjoy park trails, family games, and going on educational vacations.
