SUMMARY:Soccer 2026
DESCRIPTION:Friday Homeschool Soccer – Spring 2026 \nSignups Start March 1 \n11:00am-1:10PM \nFriday Homeschool Soccer exists to provide an opportunity for homeschool families to learn the skills of soccer\, earn physical education hours\, and provide an opportunity to make lasting relationships. We believe in honoring God in all we do; and we put Him first on the field and off the field. Our purpose is to glorify God through character\, teamwork\, and living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. \nFriday Homeschool Soccer is open to West County Christian Home Educators members. Grades K-12 (Must be 4 by first day of soccer. Can’t be older than 18.) \nVolunteers: \nThere are still unfilled adult coaching positions in the teen group and the 10-12 boys group. You may be asked to fill an open position. As with all positions within WCCHE\, soccer is entirely made up of volunteers and can only run smoothly when there are enough. \nStudents that play during the first hour are encouraged to help with the younger groups. If you have a high school student\, this is a great way to earn volunteer hours for college/scholarship applications. \nA side request. I need to convert a macro code from Excel to ODF. I haven’t dug into how to do this yet. It is a macro for printing out the name tags each week. If anyone out there is skilled in converting from one code to the other\, please let me know. \nWhen: April 3\, 10\, 17\, 24; May 1\, 8\, 22\, 29 \nTimes: 11:00a-12:00p for students ages 10-18 years: (Groups: 13&up\, 10-12girls\, 10-12boys) 12:10p-1:10p for students ages 4-9 years: (Groups: 4-5\, 6-7\, 8-9) \nLocation:  Fenton City Park (1215 Larkin Williams Rd\, Fenton\, MO 63026); Soccer Fields 1&2 \nRequirements: WCCHE membership required; Signed waivers must be submitted prior to child being able to play; Payment prior to play; All players need to wear close-toed shoes. Shin guards are recommended. NO SANDALS\, SLIDES\, or CROCS ALLOWED! Bring your own water bottle and soccer ball for each child labeled with his/her name. \nAges 4-5 (size 3 ball) Ages 6-12 (size 4 ball) Ages 13 + (size 5 ball) \nSoccer usually fills up quickly so if you know your child will miss more than 3 soccer sessions\, please allow others to fill in the spot and wait until next season to join. Unforeseen absences are excluded from this. \nIf you decide after you have signed up that you or any of your children no longer wish to participate\, please let me know. \nStudents will not be permitted to move from one age group to another mid-season. You can request your child play in an older group if he/she will be aging up in the middle of the season. You must clear this with Mary Miles prior to the first practice\, April 3rd. The child will remain in the age they started in for the entirety of the season. \nCost: $10 per student\, \nMake checks payable to Mary Miles send to: \nMary Miles 9001 Burton Ave. Overland\, MO 63114 \nYou may also bring cash or check to the first day of soccer. \nEach student must have a parent or responsible adult present\, or he/she will NOT be allowed to play.
