We are an active group of home school families supporting one another in St. Louis County, MO and nearby.

We offer several resources to the public, including record-keeping samples and a directory of homeschool groups in Missouri. For more information on Missouri Homeschool laws check out our Resources for Homeschoolers from the Homeschooling Information menu above.

Graduation

The West County Christian Home Educators Senior Graduation is held annually in the month of May or June at a local church chosen by that years committee.

Social Events

Fun and Excitement at WCCHE Social Events, featuring the much-awaited Family Festival & Chili Cook-off. Join us for fun-filled activities and a mouthwatering showcase of chili recipes.

Homeschool Soccer

Soccer exists to provide an opportunity for homeschool families to learn the skills of soccer, earn physical education hours, and provide an opportunity to make lasting relationships.

Chess Club

Homeschool Chess Club designed to teach children how to play and strategize the game of chess. 

Field Trip Co-Op

Join other homeschooling families on educational jouney’s. Build community, and friendships to last a lifetime! 

Spelling Bee

The Scripps National Spelling Bee includes 450 useful and facinating words. First place winner of the WCCHE Spelling Bee advances to Regionals at Saint Louis University on February 2.

WCCHE Statement of Purpose

(“West County Christian Home Educators exists for the purpose of supporting, encouraging, and equipping families in the performance of their God-given responsibilities to train and educate their children in the instruction of the Lord.”  (Deut. 4:6, Eph. 6:4, Mal. 2, Ps. 78)

WCCHE seeks to unite its members for the purpose of:

  • Providing information regarding legal and social issues affecting homeschooling families
  • Offering enriching educational activities
  • Providing wholesome fellowship opportunities with like-minded homeschooling families
  • Fostering communication between homeschooling groups
  • Supporting the family unit

The WCCHE organization will continue to be comprised solely of volunteer families that seek to exhibit Christian unity, service, and the love of Christ to its membership for the purpose of bringing glory to God the Father.  (1 Peter 4:10-11)
